GOOD... BUT TWO FLAWS TO BE REVIEWED....
Bought as a second screen so that I could watch the news channels without apprehension after my OLED TV was permanently scarred by the frames and fixed objects on them... LCI in particular....
This Samsung would be a very good choice if two points were improved....
CONTRAST / SATURATION
Certainly, you get picky on this point when you also have an OLED screen. This device was very promising in shop on the 4K HDR contents carefully chosen by Samsung. But a certain disappointment on the SD contents of the TNT channels. Despite all the interventions on the settings, the image still lacks contrast and especially saturation as the brightness tends to decrease this...... Difficult to find an optimal setting....
REMOTE CONTROL
Samsung wanted to be original with its mini (micro?...) remote control with solar cell (positive)... but without a numeric keypad (totally negative...). Hence the obligation to select channels on the on-screen virtual keyboard: long... not intuitive at all... and quickly boring.... Zero score.... In fact, Samsung has designed both its interface and its remote control to cater only for users of applications and web channels and has totally forgotten those who buy this TV to watch DTT above all... which is still the majority of users.... The addition of a second remote control and the possibility of accessing a home screen, both of which are more traditional, would have been welcome.
That said, these shortcomings must be weighed against the attractive price - especially after discount... - and this device is still a good value for money when you disregard these two flaws.
There is also an undeniable advantage in my experience of OLED panels: the QLED screen should not be marked by the still images that are abusively invading our TV screens... after those of computers....
