Excellent, versatile, responsive and durable headphones
I have had these headphones since they were released in March 2022. Ten months later, these headphones have lived up to all my expectations, even if at first my ears had to get used to their size. They are a bit large and not suitable for all ear shapes, especially small ears. They are not suitable for running, because of their weight, at 8g per earphone.
This weight is due to the built-in batteries, which give them an impressive battery life. I can spend many days using them without recharging them.
The audio quality is excellent, thanks to the use of AptX codecs, the bass is good, but there is some versatility for less pop/rock songs. They allow me to listen to techno as well as violin with a clear rendering. I would recommend using their app to adjust the EQ, to get the most out of the tracks you are listening to.
They also have an excellent latency. The low latency mode (LL) allows video games to have an imperceptible lag, which is what I was looking for in these headphones. I would note that even without the LL mode, it remains very reasonable.
The noise reduction is good, but not much more.
To make calls, I find that it sometimes lacks. The quality of the microphones is average, and at times I have to reposition the earpiece in my ear to be heard properly.
The buttons are configurable via the app and offer a number of interesting functions. The grip is convenient, as it allows you to hold the earpiece between your index finger and thumb, thus avoiding moving the earpiece when pressing the button with your index finger.
These headphones are generally very good but have some shortcomings that may be a problem for some. They are excellent in autonomy, latency and audio rendering. They are less good in noise reduction, and not suitable for small ears and runners.
