Detailed and accurate 3D prints
The Artillery Sidewinder X1 3D printer is pre-assembled and ready to use in minutes. It is driven by an MKS Gen L motherboard, coupled with AT2100 stepper motor controllers. This combination offers a high degree of precision in the movement of the print head. The result is detailed, true-to-life prints and smooth, curved surfaces. The print head is composed of a Titan type extruder close to the nozzle, allowing better control of the filament flow. This system, also known as "Direct Drive", allows flexible filaments such as TPU to be printed without difficulty.The SideWinder X1's aluminium profiles are wider than the average printer, allowing for stable movement of both the platen and the head. With the SideWinder X1, you'll have a machine that can accurately reproduce small models as well as very large objects with an impeccable surface finish. The Artillery SideWinder X1 is very quiet! The head movements are not only very smooth, but also very quiet, and the fans are hardly audible, despite their efficiency.
The Sidewinder X1 ensures that your 3D prints adhere to its micro textured glass plate. The plate is made of thick glass and offers excellent flatness, which allows it to do without an automatic levelling sensor. Finally, the Sidewinder X1 features an end-of-filament sensor that will pause the machine once your spool is empty, and will also be able to resume printing in the event of a power failure. So you can run long prints without worry.
