Not really DDR5
The card is good because it allows to put 4 m.2 disks which allows several very fast access disks. The card is really sober visually, which for me is a big plus.
The card is really simple visually, which is a big plus for me. However, on the DDR5 memory side, it is impossible to put more than 2 * 16gb when, according to the documentation, the card is supposed to support up to 128gb ...
As soon as I put 4 g.skill 5600 MHz, the frequency of the memory drops to 4000 MHz (whereas the minimum required for the DDR5 standard is 4800 MHz!!!). And of course, impossible to use XMP ...
I contacted the Asus support and they told me that it's "normal" and that you need certified memory sticks to be able to use 4 of them... except that no compatible sticks are currently certified (2 1/2 months after the purchase of the motherboard)
In short, it smells like an unfinished product, a shame at this price!
