Top motherboard but does not accept older video cards

Acquired to replace my old Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H to upgrade to Windows 11, this card is perfect. Coupled with an Intel Core i9-12900KF and 32GB DDR5, the ASUS system is very powerful.

The only downside is that it refused to accept my old Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 video card and the system wouldn't boot, even though the card worked perfectly on my old setup. I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out the problem because there was no system alarm buzzer built in and no LED either. I had to add a buzzer to realise that the problem was with my video card.

Back to LDLC for verification where they confirmed that everything was working perfectly...with a slightly newer video card (GTX 1050). So I had to buy a new video card (GTX 1160) and, since then, no more problems.

I'm very happy with the service and I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
