Very good screen definition
I had a 10.1" android tablet (v. 5.0.2) that worked but due to the age of the android version, I was limited in the choice of apps I could install. As I was going to be bedridden for a month I wanted a source of digital entertainment. My criteria was weight, small size, good screen definition and durability (hardware that doesn't become obsolete within 3 years of release), these criteria pushed me towards the ipad mini. After seeing a lot of comparisons, and not seeing a viable android alternative I decided to break the bank :). My uses are watching video content (youtube, movies, replay), viewing web pages, viewing digital books (epub and pdf), listening to spotify. Everything works perfectly, I am fully satisfied. Small downsides..... I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it for a long time. The screen is ideal for me and I can watch videos or read books without difficulty because small screen = small weight !!! :) If you have the budget you can go for it (and buy his pencil at the same time)
