Purchase of a laptop computer

My LDLC computer, bought several years ago, broke for the same reason as the previous one: the screen hinges gradually hardened and then finally jammed and burst. It was the second experience of this kind (systematic defect of laptops?)
Your sales department, which I contacted, recommended the DELL in question because I wanted to have UBUNTU pre-installed. I've been using it forever and didn't want to re-learn a new OS or reinstall it myself.
My comments:
- ORDER-DELIVERY: Ultra fast (ordered on Thursday evening (I think) delivered on Saturday morning, perfect packaging) = Very satisfied customer

I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of the product.
I have some concerns about the hinges which seem to be very hard already (scalded cat...).
I would have liked a more comfortable display (I am an elderly customer). I'm a very old customer. For example, the menus are in very small characters, difficult to read, but I don't see how to make them bigger (if you have a solution, I'm interested)
At the beginning, I had a big problem connecting to my EPSON printer-scanner-copier bought a long time ago from .....LDLC. The model should not be produced anymore (Stylus DX 8450). I finally managed to do it "by trial and error": A manual would be useful.
I used to update UBUNTU from time to time, and now I can't connect to the server.
In short, I would choose 4 and a half stars because of these small problems and I would round up to 5 stars
