very nice slab but the rest is a discount
Having already a 32" Odyssey G7, I wanted to replace my aging 2nd screen by the little brother of my G7, this 32" G5, not needing as good performance as the G7 on this 2nd screen
The screen is really good, there's nothing to say about it
On the other hand, the plastics are cheap and above all the screen is absolutely not adjustable, neither in height, nor in left-right or front-rear rotation. it is completely fixed. At this price in my eyes it is not normal
In addition to that, the stand holds the screen lower than the G7, creating a gap between the 2. So do not expect to put them side by side each other. you will have to put a support to the G5 of 7 to 8 cm so that the 2 are at the same level .... taking the same category of screen, I expected more similarities. I'm already losing in HZ (from 240 to 144) and in HDR (from 1000 to 10) we could expect to have the same presentation of these 2 ranges of screens but it's nothing
if we add to that a total absence of leds including in the small "wings" under the screen which, like the G7, could bring a gaming touch, that starts to make much.
In short, I'm very happy with the display but the rest can be improved.
