HelloThis screen is not bad however a dead pixel bar appeared after 3 weeks disappointing.
Very good for Gaming.
Lame for video (via Netflix, Youtube, ...) or DVD (via the PS4).
LDLC sent me back to SAMSUNG customer service who didn't want to know anything!
300 euros spent for a very very poor result.
First of all I would like to say that the delivery time was quite fast.
I am very satisfied with this screen, we have a lot of choices asser easy to set the options of sharpness of the image.
I have a Samsung Qled TV from 2019, I can tell you that this nice odyssey has a better quality even if I plug in my ps5!
The image is very fluid having tested assassin's creed valhalla!
I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but I'm sure it's a good one.
I also have a 4k hdmi cable.
The design is perfect in 27 inch I think on a desk.
The stand takes up a bit of space... but nothing dramatic.
I recommend it to anyone.
I give it a 9/10
A "ti" disappointed just because there is no integrated speaker. But with a headset it's not so bad.
This screen is perfect for my gaming sessions (apex) and the fluidity is felt.
For work (graphics) the curved screen is difficult to take into consideration (the shapes seem distorted due to the "curved"), but one quickly gets used to it.
However fortunately I have a 27" 4K next to it (iiyama Prolite B2875UHSU bought on LDLC which is top notch) to have a much more pronounced colour depth.
On this screen (samsung) some blues look similar when they are actually different, unlike the mac retina screen or the 27" iiyama which distinguish the differences well.
So I'd say great for games/movies, web browsing, but beware for work if you're looking for colour depth and want to be sure of the shapes you're producing.
Very disappointed with the Samsung Odyssey G5, which has been praised by many...
This is clearly not a gamer screen!
GHOSTING too much present to a point where I wonder why nobody in the comments or the tests points it out ?
I had an MSI before that wasn't as good on the spec sheet but so much better! I really don't recommend this screen, a constant blur when you move the camera in game no matter the mode, the frequency, the vsync.
The pluses :
- curved screen
- resolution
- colorimetry
Minus :
- Ghosting
- OSD
- Stand quality
