This sleek appearance allows the QGD-3014-16PT to easily fit into modern retail spaces and showrooms. The QGD-3014-16PT combines the functions of a PoE switch, NVR, NAS and router. In addition, it offers an HDMI 2.0 output for direct playback of live streams with resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 60 Hz. By consolidating the functions of multiple devices into a sleek, near-silent form factor, the QGD-3014-16PT meets the demands of retail surveillance environments.
Intelligent PoE Management
Compliant with the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard, the QGD-3014-16PT has sixteen ports with 30-watt Gigabit PoE capabilities. The QGD-3014-16PT can provide a total power budget of 140 watts to meet the demands of ONVIF® compliant bullet, fisheye, 4K PTZ and Speed Dome cameras; or high power devices such as 4K PTZ cameras, IP phones, LED lights and digital signage. The QGD-3014-16PT supports intelligent PoE management features including scheduling, power prioritization, and power on/off. You can get real-time network connection status and power consumption information from the APEs and simultaneously configure the APEs to promote an energy-efficient PoE network.
PoE switch with VM support
The QGD-3014-16PT supports QNAP's QTS operating system and is the world's first PoE switch series to support hosting virtual machines, containers and other cloud applications to establish various networking and storage solutions. In addition to QuWAN, QVR Pro, HybridMount and other applications. Not only does the QGD-3014-16PT provide an all-in-one network solution for IP monitoring, storage expansion, network security, and wireless network management, but also an SD-WAN solution to connect to other QNAP devices located in multiple locations. The QGD-3014-16PT adopts a dual processor structure; thus, it enables the independent operation of network management interfaces (QSS - QNAP Switch System) and QTS. By using the Virtual Network Switch, the data of QTS and QSS can be transferred via Intranet, which accelerates the computation between terminals and hosts. In addition, the QGD-3014-16PT provides a user-friendly web interface, QuNetSwitch, to help users easily deploy a flexible and secure IT infrastructure.
QuNetSwitch: User-friendly Layer 2 management software
The QGD-3014-16PT provides comprehensive Layer 2 management capabilities (e.g. VLAN, LACP and LLDP). They can divide network IP traffic into multiple groups, providing more efficient network management. The QGD-3014-16PT provides powerful security features, including IGMP Snooping, static MAC, QoS and WoL. There is also an overview dashboard and graphical statistical analysis that displays all switch and APE information at a glance, simplifying the management of powered devices.
