Epson after-sales service is catastrophic - LDLC clears itself because the printer is under warra...
I bought an EPSON EcoTank 15000 printer for my work in February 2022 for over 700€.
It worked fine until the beginning of May 2022 then suddenly from one day to the next it stopped printing. I called 5 times the Epson technical support (average waiting time before being put in touch 30 mn!!!!) which made me reinstall the drivers 5 times, without success and try all other manoeuvres all more ineffective the ones than the others!
I learned today because one of the technical support people let it go, that Epson has been having major problems with the printer/computer connection since the switch to Windows 11 (indeed I had updated my computer to Windows 11 shortly before the printer malfunctioned).
To date, no response from Epson. They must "call me back"! I was told this before the summer and never got a call back. It seems that the technical support advisors are not all very professional, like this lady who led me to believe that I was going to be called back by Epson after she had referred my problem "to someone more competent"!
This adviser refused to give me her name and to send me the satisfaction questionnaire, without hiding the fact that it was for fear of a bad rating and even going so far as to tell me in a mocking tone that she didn't care that no one would be able to trace it back to her! I was totally amazed: bravo Epson, what professionalism!
I am biting my fingers at having bought this printer, I have put back into service an old small HP printer which is far from having all the functionalities of the EPSON 15000 but at least it PRINTS!
The technical support is deplorable!
