The AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT processor (3.9 GHz / 4.7 GHz) is one of the first PC processors to be etched in 7 nm and to support the PCIe 4.0 interface. This third-generation Ryzen processor (Matisse Refresh) is powered by 8 cores and 16 threads, a base frequency of 3.9 GHz that can be scaled up to 4.7 GHz, 32 MB of L3 cache and 105W of TDP.
AMD's Ryzen 7 3800XT offers a (re)introduction to high-end performance for gaming, content creation and intensive multitasking. With 16 threads and 36MB of GameCache, double the cache of the second generation Ryzen 7, it does EVERYTHING faster and smoother.
The Zen 2 cores are designed to make efficient use of available resources to optimise computational performance. Compared to the previous architecture, 2X floating point capabilities and up to 15% higher instructions per cycle enable performance to reach new thresholds. Zen 2 combines performance for next-generation applications with optimal energy efficiency.
The AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT desktop processor offers 8 native cores and 16 logical cores for smooth multitasking. Thanks to its high native frequency and its Turbo Core mode, the third-generation AMD Ryzen CPU delivers exceptional performance in gaming, intensive multitasking, video editing, 3D modeling and more. The 32MB L3 cache also enables ultra-fast processing of large numbers of instructions with low latency.

69°C on the desktop 99°C in games despite a very good ventirad .
In the bios the voltage is originally blocked on 1,5V !
I've never seen anything like this before, but I'm sure it's a good idea to check it out.
I've had a lot of processors in the past and I've never seen anything like this!
Just disgusted.
Without the discount I would not have bought this processor because it is really too expensive for so little performance gain compared to the 3700X.
It's also more power consuming and therefore heats up more...
I'm still giving it a 7/10 because it does the job well: Fortunately.
