very good motherboard, works perfectly, only problem is the automatic overclocking part which doesn't really work, maybe a bios upgrade will fix the problem
I needed a robust motherboard, for intensive use with a controlled budget.
I wanted MSI because in general the budget is quite controlled for an equivalent motherboard in terms of specs.
I hesitated between the carbon and the gaming edge. The wifi was essential because where my computer is, I can't pull a cable without ruining the aesthetics of my big desk.
I didn't hesitate long to choose the gaming edge wifi.
Has all the specs for my use (solid graphics card (2080 super), overclocking possible, M2 PCI 4.0).
The WIFI is very appreciable because with the two antennas provided, you can receive very high speed without worry.
The only problem is that intel has not foreseen PCI 4.0 on their new processors. The only problem is that intel has not planned for PCI 4.0 on their new processors, so in about 2-3 years time, with the release of PCI 4.0 graphics cards, you will have to change your whole PC (motherboard, processor and graphics card).
What a shame, if at least, like the X570 for AMD processors, the motherboards would integrate PCI 4.0....
I'm not sure if it's a good one, but it's a good one.
