The MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Carbon WiFi was an excellent motherboard for 3 years. It performed very well and met my needs perfectly. Unfortunately, after 3 years, it developed a small problem, and it was impossible to update it. So I had to replace it.
In short, a motherboard that was at its best when it was working, but which showed a weakness after several years.
Good motherboard as long as you don't update the BIOS (it's Russian roulette) Problem known by MSI with the Z490 but does nothing... damage.
No worries, flawless operation.

Product bought for a new configuration, with i9 processor, efficient and pretty, it does the job it is asked to do.
First of all, I chose this brand following the advice of a friend and my general knowledge of the MSI brand.
After several hours of gaming, I can see that it is a quality product with a nice little RGB light.
I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but it's a good one, and I'm not sure if it's a good one.
Nothing to complain about with my I9 10850K processor.
Installed with an Intel i9 10900k processor it runs great! I'm really happy with this product, I recommend it.
I like the HDMI and display port for the graphics part of the CPU. The cooling of the M.2 ssd
The Wifi antenna is great!
It is PCI-e 4.0 ready for the next generation of intel Rocket Lake-S cpu.
It may be missing some USB ports on the back.
It's a pity that it's not 100% functional with the MPG Sekira 500G tower which has 4 usb 3.2 gen 1 ports on the front. Indeed, it lacks a usb 3.2 gen 1 connector on the motherboard to connect the 2 other usb 3.2 gen 1 ports on the front of the tower
This is why we have 1 point less for the evolution of the technologies that do not go hand in hand.
