After a year of service that we'll call acceptable (not good and loyal), the key has decided to give up the ghost altogether. Every time it connects to a network, it shuts down, turns back on, tries to reconnect, and goes on and on. For a year, this was an occasional problem, solved by turning it off and on again, but now it's dead. Move on and get a PCIe wifi card if you can!
Easy plug and play installation. Immediately effective, with more than enough bandwidth to play video games.
My PC doesn't have a WiFi card and I only needed it for a month, so there's no point in buying 50+ tech €. This one was recommended to me by the seller as having good speed-ish (obviously, it doesn't replace my fibre with Ethernet) and stable/reliable. Indeed, no problem at all. The connection only dropped once and that's when I realised that I hadn't plugged my internet device in properly, so it's nothing to do with USB Wifi.
I've got full reception power (but in a mini-inch room, so it's not really a great criterion for comparison), the internet power is good and stable, honestly nothing to complain about for a back-up tool.
After that, for those who need it 24/7, it depends on their situation. My internet speed isn't great at the moment, so I haven't really tested the USB Wifi's capabilities in that respect. But at least I don't have any connection/disconnection problems!
For light use, this dongle does the job properly.
However, as soon as you download a file at high speed, you lose the connection. The only solution is to turn the Wi-Fi off/on, or disconnect/reconnect it from the computer.
Installing/updating drivers changes nothing. Changing the USB port, whether it's USB 2.0 or 3.0, has no effect either.
After a bit of research, I realised that I'm (very) far from being the only one with this problem, which seems to be recurrent and without any solution for this model.
I would therefore advise you not to buy it.
The wifi antenna was delivered quickly and works perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchase!
