It works as soon as you plug it in. My laptop was missing doors for various items of equipment, and I'm delighted. What's more, the equipment is solidly built, lightweight and takes up very little space. So it's easy to take with you.
Connected to the Mac's usb-c connector, this adapter offers excellent ethernet connectivity and a great usb hub for signal or power. Perfect!
Ordered for a laptop that didn't have an Ethernet socket. Conclusion: immediately recognised, does its job well, heats up a little but reasonably. And 3 USB 3.0 sockets to boot. Isn't that great!
