The Linksys MR9000 Wi-Fi AC3000 MU-MIMO Router is an intelligent Mesh-enabled router that makes it capable of acting as the main node (hotspot) in your Velop system. It allows you to extend your Wi-Fi network by taking advantage of the Intelligent Mesh WiFi System composed of modular nodes (hotspots). These work seamlessly together to meet the needs of any home and provide seamless Wi-Fi wherever you are.

Smooth Wi-Fi connection throughout your home
This Wi-Fi Mesh router has been designed to fit the Wi-Fi needs of the entire household. If you want to extend the signal range even further, simply add a Linksys Velop Wi-Fi Access Point. Velops work with the MR9000. There's no need to manually switch networks.
Configuration via smartphone
Connect your router to your modem, download the Linksys App, then give your network a name and password. You also have access to a range of features including
- Parental controls: secure Internet access for your children.
- Control the use of the wireless network; restrict access to certain websites and block access to the Internet from certain devices.
- Guest access: create a separate Wi-Fi network, protected by an easy-to-share password (via text message).
- Device prioritisation: you can prioritise the access of certain devices to the Wi-Fi network so that they get faster bandwidth.
