The MSI Optix G271 Gaming PC Monitor is the perfect way to take your gaming to the next level. Featuring a 27-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution, this model has all the qualities to help you gain an edge over your opponents. Enjoy superior gaming performance (FreeSync, 144 Hz, 1 ms), optimal eye comfort and a nice frameless design. Aim only for success and prepare for glory!
Bring your gaming skills to life with the MSI Optix G271 monitor in your gaming world. This 27-inch model features Full HD resolution with an IPS panel for rich colours and wide viewing angles. In addition, a dynamic contrast of 100M:1 offers an even more intense visual experience!
Optimised for gaming, the G271 features AMD FreeSync technology, an ultra-fast response time of 1ms and a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The Night Vision mode is particularly useful in dark areas where there may be an enemy ambush, as it brightens up dark areas without overexposing the rest of the image.
Although it is very difficult to notice, the flicker rate of a standard screen is 200 per second. This flicker causes pressure on your eyes and can lead to blurred vision and eye strain. With Anti-Flicker and Less Blue Light technologies, enjoy improved eye comfort with less flicker and blue light emission.

I've been using it for gaming and video editing for over 3 months now and I'm very happy with it. The image is smooth, the colours are superb and I have never had any display problems. The screen is quite nice and sober with thin borders.
It was a present for my son and he is very happy with it.
As we don't see each other every day and we don't live in the same place, I can't tell you more.
Using this monitor for office use but especially for gaming, I have absolutely no complaints. Responsive, clean, in short. The 120hz (HDMI) makes games run smoothly, which can be set in the Nvidia panel. It also has an easy to use menu.
However 2 small points take away from this 1/10th of the score:
- The screen start up time is a bit slow. When I turn on my pc, I have time to type in the code blindly before the screen turns on. It shouldn't be more than 6/8s, but I would have liked a quicker switch-on. Well, it's minimal.
- The thin borders, yes. but the little 4mm black strip is there.
In summary, it's a good screen, without eye fatigue even after hours (like everything else, you shouldn't overdo it), so don't be too worried about buying it, you won't be disappointed. And for the price, it's a relatively good investment.
After a month of use, the screen still works very well. The image is intense and sharp, the colours are vivid, no dead pixels so far. I am very satisfied with it.
Bought 3 weeks ago from LDLC and used for games and daily use. After these 3 weeks the screen started to show worm marks and the image pixelated when starting up. Display problem for about 15-30 min then the image returns to normal.
I went with the screen to the LDLC shop in Montpellier, an exchange in front of the door with the screen in my hands, I was not even allowed to enter the store. The salesman explained to me that the screen was bought on interenet and that he could not do anything about it. He advised me to call LDLC directly and to avoid sending emails. He also informed me that LDLC should contact MSI directly, it is not my responsibility to take the necessary steps. The telephone advisor informs me that it is up to me to call the MSI after-sales service. Always avoiding responsibility.
Product and service to be avoided.
