Dual Autofocus system
The Nikon D780 full-frame SLR has not one but two AF systems! Each shooting mode has its own autofocus system to give you superior performance. In the viewfinder mode, it's a hybrid focus system with phase and contrast detection that offers you optimal tracking. From the viewfinder, a 51-point phase detection autofocus is used.
