The VG27WQ is the first gaming monitor to combine two technologies that are normally impossible to activate simultaneously: AdaptiveSync (FreeSync/G-Sync) and Ultra Low Motion Blur (ULMB).
Today, ASUS has managed to combine these two technologies and has equipped this monitor with them in the form of ELMB-Sync. Thanks to this major innovation, it is now possible to benefit from the best of both worlds (i.e. the benefits of FreeSync for better smoothness without tearing coupled with the reduction of ghosting and blurred areas during fast movements of ULMB) without being forced to do without either one!
All screens emit varying amounts of blue light, which can be harmful to the eyes if exposed for long periods of time. To effectively address this issue, ASUS Ultra Low Blue Light technology effectively reduces these emissions through 5 different selectable levels. Flicker is also combated by the Flicker-Free system so that you can play for longer periods of time under the best conditions.
With its ergonomic design, the VG27WQ can be adjusted according to your preferences: the stand has a 140 mm stroke, the tilt of the screen is adjustable to +25/5 degrees and the whole unit can be easily rotated by 90 degrees on each side.

I bought this screen in case my 27-inch DELL, which I've had for over 10 years, broke down.
Now, when the image disappears on the ASUS, or is unstable, I turn it off, and it appears, clear and stable on the old DELL.
It's a good thing I didn't sell this old companion!
nothing to complain about... very good images, top quality, large enough for games and documentation. In short, recommendation ++.
After 5 months of use, I'd like to add a few comments.
I'll start with the positive points:
The anti-reflective matt panel is very nice and personally the preset setting is very nice. The colours are magnificent and come through very well. You'll lose some in HDR but gain a much greater impression of depth. The integrated sound has the merit of being present and of being able to share what's playing on the screen. For video, it's excellent, as well as for 60 Fps games. The curved slab provides greater immersion than a flat slab. You'll even have a wider field of vision. Tilts in all directions and even in portrait.
Negative points;
Sometimes when saving settings as favourites, I had a bug where the screen went from red to green and back again without being able to get out. But its biggest fault for me is ghosting. I thought that with 165Hz and 1ms response time I'd get back the feeling of my old 144Hz TN screen, but far from it. This review is only for the seasoned eye, because apart from a nervous FPS that requires a high response time (I haven't tested any racing games), a lamba person shouldn't take my comment into consideration.
This is still a very good screen that I would recommend to many people.
I have been using it for three weeks now, so far nothing to complain about. Nice image. G-sync use with Nvidia 3060 Ti card. Even if they are not of great quality, we appreciate the presence of speakers for occasional sharing with several people. We would have liked an integrated power supply but it is difficult to find all the elements together.
Ultra comfortable, well proportioned, and adjustable (tilt, height,...). The ideal companion for games (thanks to 165Hz and WQHD), or movie sessions (HDR).
LDLC is top notch in terms of delivery, as usual.

Great product. Received in 2 days so pretty amazing. The screen is really great at all levels for this price. The only small flaw in the shipment is that there was no ldlc box but directly the asus naked box, so good level of discretion compared to the deliverer it's average but it's a detail.

the 165Hz in 1440p is very comfortable, with v-sync enabled the drama rate remains very high and there is no visible tearing.
