A faultless performance
I've already owned a number of headsets, both wired and wireless. I can't deny that not having a string attached to my arm is interesting (I've lost count of the number of times I've walked away from my computer ... while continuing to listen).
However, my previous headsets all had the same weak point: battery life. In the middle of a game or a conference call, losing audio is annoying to say the least.
With this headset, no worries. It's rated for 20 hours ... and that's plenty.
Sound quality is good (at least to my ears).
I'd even add other weak points to my previous wireless headphones that this one doesn't have.
- No loss of sound when I go for a walk in the kitchen (same home, same conditions).
- Easy to install: this is done via the Armoury Crate (the ROG tool for this purpose)
- USB connection cable too short, leading to rapid damage to the cable (at the headphone link) because it was bent. This headset has the same short cable, but I have to admit that after a few months of use, I've never once felt the need to charge the headset during use.
As for LDLC service: always impeccable!
I'd recommend it.
