The screen is very good, good colour, good definition, good brightness in sunlight.
But why?
Why this programmed obsolescence by forcing the use of the USB C cable provided in the box? Even an Apple UsbC cable doesn't work! That's the last straw in 2022. Hence the salty note of 4/10
Fits my needs perfectly, great to work on a 4K screen. I especially like the fact that I can extend the screen of the laptop and charge it at the same time with a single USB-C cable.
Good resolution. Possibility to adjust the height. The only problem is that the adjustment menu is a bit archaic
The display is quite satisfactory, and its USB-C port is very convenient to use on a Macbook, even the Macbook detects a sound output on the screen even though it doesn't exist. I haven't found a way to fix it yet.
Otherwise, some of the plastics are unflattering, especially the bottom panel of the screen and the settings button (even if the interface remains practical). The overall aesthetics of the product are (from my point of view) successful.
I do not regret this purchase, and to have gone through LDLC. As usual, very good customer experience, both on the order and on the delivery and packaging: a reference.
This screen is exactly what I was looking for. I only do office work, and a screen of this size in 4K is a life-changer! So much so that I bought the same one for my work. It comes with a long enough USB C cable. So all you have to do is plug in your laptop and it's up and running. It works very well in dock mode, transmitting video, sound, charging the computer. Having a Mac and a Windows computer, both are perfectly functional. However, it is specified that you must use the USB C cable supplied with the screen. Indeed, I wanted to connect a USB C Thunderbolt 3 cable from Belkin with this screen, and whether it was on a Mac or Windows, it did not work.
In short, I recommend this purchase.
The LG 27" LED display - 27UK670-B is simply excellent, very bright, I use it in USB-C on a MacBook Pro and everything is perfect (note no sound even if it appears in the preferences, absolutely not a concern for me)
I've been using a Mac mini for a fortnight now and I'm very happy with this display, which meets my expectations perfectly.
My only fear is the on/off and configuration button which seems fragile. I would have preferred something more robust.
Nice 4K display. I chose the model for its USB-C connectivity for use with a 2017 13" Macbook pro. The monitor comes with the USB-C cable so it is possible to use this monitor to charge the mac and to use it as a USB hub (I let it plug in a keyboard)
