With its ThunderBolt 3 and USB-C 3.0 interfaces, you'll be able to transfer data to both Mac and PC. These ports are also very fast and will save you precious time each time compared to classic USB 2.0 interfaces: 530 Mb/s maximum! This model is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0, so it can be used with older machines.
If you need to protect your work from potential intruders, the LaCie Private-Public software offers 256-bit AES encryption for maximum security.
