    Plug and Play ?

    I bought this external SSD which is sold as plug and play.

    So when I plug it in it is not detected and I had to struggle for 2 hours to find the problem which was that it was indeed recognised but not connected to the system as it had no letter (like C: for most main hard drives).

    So the problem is more that it should be prevented that this kind of situation can happen because personally it is the first external storage system that I buy and that I put in place.
