    An imposing but effective professional model

    This is the first time I've bought a professional laser printer. Obviously, it's bulkier than a domestic model, but what an efficiency! The M428FDW is fast, quiet and capable of printing on both sides of the paper, and can be set up in a few minutes, even over Wi-Fi (on a Mac or PC) thanks to the HP software available free of charge online. The M428FDW can be used as a standalone printer, with the computer turned off for quick photocopying. AirPrint compatibility even allows you to print a document directly from your iPhone/iPad. Great.

    The only downside is that the touch screen is really... small. If you have big fingers, navigating the menus will not be easy.

    Correct printer for a correct price.

    The printer is of good quality and produces pages that are correctly aligned, unlike a previous, less expensive HP printer.
    I would have liked to see the default tray 1 being the lower tray and not the envelope feeder which is in the open when in use.
    The printer works under Linux (ubuntu)
