Great cabinet!
Coupled with the rest of my 5.0 installation composed of 2 Kilpsch RF 62 MK2 - 1 RC-62 MKII and Q Acoustics 2020i with an Onkyo TX NR 676 amp and well it sends strong, very strong.
My 2 columns RF 62 MK2, go down low in the bass and I wondered if the addition of a sub would be really beneficial. I can assure you that it would! It adds a real depth to the sound. Both in music and in home cinema. Now when I turn it off I really feel like something is missing.
I have installed this subwoofer in a 50m² room and it is clearly sufficient. I was hesitating with the model above due to the size of the room, but frankly it is more than enough. The gain potentiometer is at less than half and it is already making all the frames in the room vibrate (this is not a joke). The bass is very deep and engaging. If you turn the gain up further, it becomes too much, but that shows that there is room for improvement.
This is a nice product and should not be used in a flat!
