Very good 5.1 set
First contact with Yamaha equipment.
In order not to be dependent on the same brand as my Samsung TV, I wanted to take a completely different brand that would allow me to improve the sound quality of the TV as well as to test the spatialization of the cinema sound and also to listen to music with quality equipment.
I thus directed myself towards Yamaha (at Sonos, equivalent set, Beam 480 + box 700 + 2 One 400 at +- 1600 euros or even at Denon or another hifi manufacturer)
1st test with the 2 cast20 speakers:
- a little constraining the 1st parameter setting (wifi, config...) but once established, the following are much simpler!
- fluid listening and complete musical functionalities (nas, spotify, radio channels, I was able to find all the Belgian channels that I usually listen to, very large choice!)
- configuration in stereo mode (with wifi synchro between the speakers), easy to implement and big difference in sound quality (only one speaker for music management)
- no loss of signal (as I have encountered with a chromecast audio + amp + wired speakers)
- possibility to increase the sound and record 3 channels/music app directly on the speaker
Then test the sound bar + subwoofer (quick pairing):
- Connect to the Hdmi Arc port on the TV and all other equipment (home cinema, playstation, bluray) will benefit from the sound (no need to connect each equipment to the sound bar)
-Good sound quality, clearer voices (with the clear voice mode) but slight sensation of sound coming out of a box
Closing the chapter by configuring the set (sound bar + sub + 2 speakers in surround mode)
Excellent sound rendering! it's like being in a cinema! sounds come from everywhere (test with Appolo13, Ready PlayerOne, Bohemian Rapsody)
Small downside if you want to remove a speaker already configured in a zone, you have to reset the equipment and reinstall it!
Excellent product
