Small machine not very powerful but with 8GB of RAM and an SSD perfect for office, cloud, or quality video conferencing in 1080p 60 fps or 4K 30 fps.
Bought to replace a NUC Celeron that has been running for 5 years non stop, this one had the same problem as the previous NUC Celeron, a mandatory BIOS update before being able to install Linux.
Afterwards, no problems encountered, hoping that it has a life as long as its little brother!
I come back to report that everything is OK, this little box is really top.
In fact, the image sent back, should not be quite 16/9, hence an overflow and cropping of the irons.
The solution is to modify the settings of the TV, change the aspect ratio from 16/9 to "original signal" and it's perfect (on LG TVs anyway)
It's a nice little machine, it's reactive, to play video, no problem.
I use it on a 4k LG UHD TV, it manages my Netflix and Molotov subscription without any problem.
The integrated wifi works well.
The only downside is that the graphics driver for the Intel 605 chip is not yet perfect.
I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it on a dedicated PC screen or not.
But on my 2 LG 4K TVs, the picture is slightly bigger than the screen, so the icons and taskbar are cropped by half, so not great.
I have the latest intel driver (win64_24.20.100.6136), I tried to find a driver for the monitor, but nada.
Hopefully Intel will fix their driver soon
