beautiful inside and out
After having a Lian Li in brushed aluminium (a Rolls!) I saw that they didn't make cases with a BluRay drive bay anymore. So I took this InWIn.
The case is very heavy although 100% aluminium (except for the USB dock where the power button is, and the small casing that protects the power supply which are made of steel). All the inner walls are 2mm thick!
A lot of space inside for the management cable, and connectors (USB, SATA, power supply extensions) + screws and bolts supplied.
5 inch bay : great idea for the layout !
3 HDD bays very well done, except that 2/3 of the power supply plugs were mounted crooked. We had to unscrew them to put them straight.
In production, aluminium is a real plus because it evacuates heat very well.
On the other hand, Lian Li is not who wants to be and we have some design defects!
Power supply: the casing blocks the fan in part. I recommend a fanless power supply, or to use long screws to move it 4 cm forward.
Watercooling: THE big flaw. You can only install a radiator of max 120mm, and it has to be on the rear of the case.
Finally, strangely enough given the rest of the bundle, no fan mounted on it despite the slots.
Conclusion: very solid and sturdy, spacious, but the design requires a small watercooling mounted at the rear or a classic aircooling
