This cutter does its job properly:
I connected :
- A 15m commercial RJ45 Cat. 5E cable on one side
- A home-made 20m RJ45 Cat. 6 cable (the connectors) on the other.
I've done a speed test (internet) and the data goes through at up to 880Mb/s, but it's the 1.0Gb/s network cards and the internet connection that are limiting it.
When you unpack the product, the visual impression suggests quality. To the touch too. Very good material. The connection is good, you can hear the "click" of the connection and I pulled on it to see if it disconnected and it held well.
The choice and reliability of LDLC products are always impeccable. The technical characteristics are present (shielding and ethernet category). Price positioning well adjusted.
