This StarTech. com Thunderbolt 3 (40 Gb/s) cable lets you connect to any Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port to transmit video and data to your Thunderbolt, USB and DisplayPort devices. In addition, it also allows you to charge your devices and connect up to 6 Thunderbolt 3 devices in a daisy chain setup.

This cable supports a transfer speed of 40 Gb/s when connected to a Thunderbolt 3 device, allowing you to transfer photo and video files four times faster than with a USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable (10 Gb/s). When connected to a USB 3.1 device, the cable supports a transfer speed of 10 Gb/s.

    Does the job

    Cable received very well packaged. The finish is very good and looks very solid.
    It is used to transmit sound, image and 61w at the same time without any problem. (mbp 13" connected to a screen)
    Be careful, 50cm of cable is still very short.
