    do the job but...

    I bought the adapter to use a usb wired controller on usbc smartphone. Unfortunately it sometimes does not get recognized as a controller but as a device of some kind. This is a known issue (regardless of the adapter) so I don't know if this adapter is at fault.
    Just know that you will potentially have the same problem for this use.
