My 1080 gtx graphics card only has one HDMI port.
To connect my TV, my HTC Vive and my screen, it was starting to get stuck...
Coupled with an HDMI 2.0 cable to run 4K on my TV it's just what I needed :)

Having recently acquired an HTC Vive headset and having two monitors on my PC, I had to connect my monitors to DisplayPort in order to leave the only Hdmi input on my graphics card (Gtx 1070) available for my VR headset.
This little "switch" allowed me to make these connections by converting Hdmi to Displayport from both displays (i.e. two switches).
A bit expensive for what it represents...
