The colours are very well calibrated for print.
The height and tilt adjustments are wide and the joints have no play.
The product meets my needs, multiple settings according to the image or video work, fast and very careful delivery.
After having received a first 24" screen that was too small, I am now taking pictures on a large format and this 27" screen corresponds very well to my expectations
THE flaw: the position of the connectors... You have to bend over and fiddle with it to plug something in, and it must make you want to forget about the USB!
For the rest, it's really good for the price.
But be careful! I was too lazy to take out the HDMI cable provided but the monitor didn't accept the one I usually use. Use the supplied hardware, it's quite suitable.
Very good product Good value for money.
The IPS panel is perfect and meets all my needs for working on photo or video software. This screen is perfect and meets all my needs.
The contrast is not extraordinary but the screen is pleasant and its definition excellent. The packaging is neat and the delivery is fast. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get the same level of service from LDLC, but I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get the same level of service from LDLC. I'm not going to change supplier as long as everything goes well, which is the case so far.
A bit expensive compared to other screens, but not at all disappointed. The quality is great and the QHD is a real plus.
The factory calibration certificate is also welcome to ensure that the colours are correct (photo...). Works very well under linux.
-0.5 stars because windows drivers exist with some interesting features but are not available for linux :( .
First of all I received a first screen with a broken slab, completely cracked. The LDLC after-sales service immediately sent me a new one after a photo report. Fast, simple and efficient.
The screen is well calibrated out of the box. The screen is well calibrated out of the box, so if you don't want to bother with the settings for photo use, it's perfect.
The QHD resolution on this size is sufficient for Photoshop/Lightroom use. The rendering is good, the colour uniformity is good, the contrast for an IPS is very good (blacks are black even in the dark).
The photo editing in portrait mode by rotating the monitor is pretty awesome.
I didn't notice any light distribution defects on the panel. I find it very uniform (a defect noted by some websites last year while testing, may be corrected by benq over time)
No problems with defective pixels.
The stand is pre-mounted which makes it easy to put into service.
Beware, only HDMI and Displayport are available. Forget about VGA and DVI.
For small configurations, an integrated graphics chip such as the Intel HD4000 is not enough (no way to go beyond FullHD) but a small passive graphics card such as the GT 710 for less than 40€ will do the trick.
I recommend this monitor for office / multimedia / photo use
My first BenQ monitor. The installation is very simple, the connections easy. Small plus, the plugs under the screen are very practical to connect a WebCam, a camera cord, a headset, ...
As for calibration, I had no problem. After calibration with an X-rite probe, the differences with the factory calibration are minimal (vaguely the greens, but leaning on it).
I use it mainly in sRGB mode (used for calibration) except when the brightness in the room is too high where I switch it to "animation". All this in less than 5 seconds thanks to the buttons on the side!
In conclusion, it is a good screen for office work and/or photo editing (amateur) but in good conditions!
I had read good reviews of this monitor. But the difficulty of calibrating it is prohibitive. After hours of trying to calibrate it next to a MacBook Pro retina, I gave up. I'm looking for a loaner and hoping it will work. I've kept the screen, because what else can I get? The LGs recommended by Apple are not really the same price!
