    meets my expectations... and more

I bought this printer because Brother has an open policy towards Linux. No disappointment on this side: the drivers provided install without problem under Debian 10 and give access to all the features (with CUPS the printer alone works very well). I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the printer as a standalone device, but it's a good idea to use the printer as a standalone device, as it's a good idea to use the printer as a standalone device. I'm just taking one star off for the long start-up time of the first print compared to my 12 year old HP!
