The headphones are attached to the headband by tiny, excessively fragile plastic parts. Before the first listening session, the headphones fell from a height of 80cm onto a thick wool carpet. One of these parts broke off. It is no longer possible to use the headphones. Absolutely not to be bought.
I think it's a shame that LDLC doesn't offer replacement foams for sale. Otherwise it's an excellent headset.
this is my second porta pro, the previous one had broken at an earphone wire.
-1 pt because it had broken, although folded and closed.
I'm not going to tell you anything fancy: the bag provided is too small, and the original foams are flimsy. as a result, the headset can be uncomfortable if you stay in the firm position (3 positions, via the little blue button on each side) which is the default position.
-1 pt for these details.
This headset reveals itself with Yaxi foams (highly recommended) or the pads found on ebay.
For the rest, the low frequency response is just crazy, and the mid and high frequencies are not left out. really a great headset, which competes with great headphones at three times the price.
It's probably the most compact and lightest headset on the market, with or without the custom foam.
Nothing to say about the sound quality: it is very good for modern music. (with pronounced bass and treble)
It is not a monitoring headphone, you are warned before buying.
I can note 2 criticisms however:
- Impossibility to use the small case provided, it is much too small.
- I'm very pleased with the quality of this product, it's very good value for money and it's very good value for money.
Otherwise very satisfied, you can listen to everything, and for hours, and without any discomfort.
This headset has been around since the 80's! It is the best headset on the market for its lightness, its reliability, its musicality! It is the only headset I use daily for video & Hi-Fi...Irreplaceable!!!
