This is the second carbon pen for optics that I have, the first one was smaller and lasted a few years on my digital compact. I hope to keep this one for a long time as well, as we don't clean the lens on the buffer side as often, except when we are at the seaside. It's a pity that the top of the brush is slightly exposed to dust from the bag even when retracted into its housing. You can't have everything! This is still an essential product and an alternative to the soft cloth.
