Very good microphone but the cable is a bit thin
The microphone works and is efficient, but the main drawback is that the cable is thin and therefore probably fragile. I handle it with care.
Not a word wasted

Good audio quality, but the cable is short (about 1m) which is enough as a phone accessory but short for a link with a video camera... and strict mono...
Just about holds its own without being powered
For all those who have problems with weak, absent or variable sound, I would like to remind you that electret microphones need a tiny power supply to work properly. You can find all the explanations and a small electronic assembly on https://www.sonelec-musique.com/electronique_bases_alim_micro_electret.html
This model must be powered with 1.5V, so a battery is enough.
The addition of "information provided by our technical department" is relevant].
It is surely possible to get proper operation without a power supply, if the microphone input sends a sufficient DC component.
You can also try using a "Line In" rather than a Microphone input.
Regarding the appearance of the product, it is really small (1 cm diameter). The cord is thin and therefore light. A spare windscreen is provided. The 2.5 jack to 3.5 jack adapter will be used for some devices. The windscreen fits well and will not fly off accidentally.
I take off half a star for the lack of information about the required power supply.
My test:
I tried connecting the Philips LFH9173 directly to my laptop (Realtek Audio HD), without powering it. The level obtained is equivalent to what you get with a classic dynamic microphone, which is insufficient when clipped to the chest.
After noise reduction on Audacity in these conditions, the voice is not studio quality, but intelligibility is good.
