- allows for a hand position without constraint on the wrist,
- keeps its place on the work surface,
- no cord problem: it is put away as soon as it is installed,
- in my case, with a Linux operating system (Mageia), the two buttons are useless, but I knew that!
I have just replaced my trackman after many years of good and loyal service. I'm a developer and it's all I use at work and at home. The left click finally broke but I must have had it for about 5 years.
The ball glides well except when the lugs are dirty. Just take the ball out and remove the dirt and it slides back in.
The sturdiness and value for money are top notch and I have taken the same one back.
I'm just taking off half a star because the anti-slip rubbers are already gone on my new one whereas they never moved on the old one.
