After a year's use, this CG does me a lot of favours in 4K. The gcc gigabyte software should be avoided. It creates conflicts with my other Led software (ICUE)...
So I advise you to install it once to set the colour and not to let it run in the background afterwards. Not to mention the ventilation curve which is completely useless with this software.
Otherwise the performance is top notch. It still heats up a lot on its HOT Spot (93°).

Fantastic for games and creative applications
I hesitated for a long time between this card and the AMD 7900 XTX, but I have absolutely no regrets about my choice. This card is enormous in terms of size, but also in terms of its performance in games and creative applications. The drivers are stable, so there's nothing to worry about. The only downside is the price, of course, but it's still a very good long-term investment. Coupled with my Ryzen 9 5950X processor, I'm delighted :D

4080 gigabyte gaming oc
A huge card ... very heavy with brackets that will not be compatible with all motherboards ... from a point of view of power, silence ... nothing but to say the performance is already widely known. The leds present have a small strobe effect, the fans are activated only when the card is solicited otherwise the fans do not turn and the leds of the fans are turned off. During a benchmark the card wakes up ... noise doesn't seem to be too much of a problem for this card ... probably one of the best versions of 4080 for build quality and heat dissipation (copper heatpipes ..) it's exactly the same card visually and heatsink wise as its big sister the 4090! I'm not sure if it's the same as the 4090, but it's the same as the 4080, and it's the same as the 4090.

Perfect for my use
I chose this model for energy reasons. Compared to the competition of the model above and the AMD cards, it has the advantage of delivering very good performances for a controlled consumption and a very contained heat release, in a cathedral silence.
The price remains exaggerated, but I decided to make this sacrifice.
As for the brand, I chose it because the manufacturer simply kept the PCB and the cooling system of the RTX4090 by changing only the die.
So vrm/mosfets are very strong and thermal management is ideal.
MSFS is running at full speed in 2k/4k at 60fps (limit set by the driver), stable, without noise at 50°c for 100W of consumption.
What more could you ask for?

Excellent!
Nothing to complain about, it's really good. My old one was a 3080, there is a real gap in performance. It's perfect for VR which is very resource intensive if you want to push the graphics and super sampling a bit.
LDLC is probably not the cheapest, but it's still perfect. I have been a customer for many years and have never been disappointed. I've been a customer for many years and I've never been disappointed, but a little gift for the most loyal customers would be appreciated.

On my Samsung 5k 49" screen everything is 120fps. The graphics card with 100% GPU is at 60°c, you can't hear it
Too expensive too bad

A marvel (fortunately given the price ;-)!
Hello,
I've had it for 3 days now, it's a real wonder! More than amazing when you take it out of the box, you can read the dimensions to choose the right case... you don't realise until you have it in your hands. I had a 2080 before... it looks almost small next to it.
I have an I7 9700k and 16GB of dd4, you can see that you need one of the latest crazy procs to run it. My proc is 4 years old, I can tell you that everything runs in 4K at full speed even when on a PCIE 3.0.
Cyberpunk, Red Dead 2, Forza horizon 5, Dying light 2, Battlefield 5 and 2042 all run at full 4k and ultra it's beautiful.
Especially Cyberpunk with an average of over 90fps... compared to my 40/50fps in 1920 before.
It doesn't heat up much, 60/62° max, whereas the 2080 was perfectly fine at 75/80. Quieter then.
It's a good thing! expensive, but they really managed to do it at all levels at Nvidia.
Thanks ldlc and good games to all

Satisfied
Top performance, the card is very quiet, never exceeds 62*.
The gigabyte software is a bit dodgy, the RGB management is a bit limited, as well as the fan curve.
But all in all it's a good product although very expensive.
