I chose it to extend my WIFI network to a large house with 1m thick walls.
Simple and quickly functional. The Easymesh mode lets you increase coverage with a RE705x.
It does the job perfectly.
The only downside is the power consumption
I wanted to install this router in a metal cabinet, and therefore offset the antennae. I purposely went to the shop to ask if the antennae could be removed, as I couldn't find this information, not even on the manufacturer's website. "Of course they can be dismantled, otherwise the device wouldn't fit in the box"... I would have preferred the salesman to admit that he didn't know anything about it, rather than answering nonsense. Anyway, the router itself may be great, but I'm going to have to change a lot of things in my current setup before I'll realise it. So far, it's a disappointment.
Easy to set up. Wifi is good. 4 output ports. Takes up a bit of space and takes a little time to start up. Administration interface accessible via a web page hosted on the router.
Very good. I recommend this product. And the online advice is great. Very good site and fast delivery.
Easy to use via http. I haven't tried it via the smartphone.
I only use it in WIFI access point mode to replace the WIFI of my box. Good range and doesn't get too hot despite the Caribbean heat.
The only downside is that I haven't managed to update the firmware yet as it can't find an internet connection even though I have internet via WIFI. The LAN port of the WIFI router is connected to a switch which is connected to the LAN of the Livebox. It seems to be a problem for him that his WAN port is not directly connected to the Internet.
I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check it out and see if it's working.
Super easy installation in a few clicks
The coverage is excellent, it goes much further despite the load-bearing wall and no more noise problems with my neighbours (I'm talking about the "Noise Floor" or Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) eh)
I've got a lot of settings to automate/schedule tasks like reboot, firmware update checks, installation.
Once everything is set up, there is no need to go back to it, it manages itself.
Nothing more to say than: perfect for my personal use... Easy to install and configure...
It is an upgrade of the AX50 with a new non-Intel processor allowing to benefit from the onemesh functionality. For my part I coupled it with an extender RE605X. The whole thing works well. I have about 800mbps at 7ms in wired mode. In wifi connection on the router I am on average at 500mbps to 9ms depending on the device. I have the impression that the range of the 5ghz is a little better than the AX50 but no miracle to expect on this side without extender.
Come and complete my network well.
I'm still planning to make some changes but already very satisfied.
The video streaming (youtube netflix etc...) is stable on all my devices even though it is located in the same place as my livebox!
Easy to install and use
Easy installation, dual frequency 2.4 and 5 GHz. Wifi invite, bandwidth priority etc etc, really great.
