Installation is straightforward.
The LCD screen settings are intuitive.
In short, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.
It's my first AIO, so I can't compare, but for a first kit I'm satisfied, installation is fairly easy and the whole thing performs well. When the CPU isn't being used the fans are very discreet and when under load you can hear them but it's not unbearable.
As far as the MSI software is concerned, it's pretty intuitive.
I didn't want too much RGB in my PC and I found this little WC nice, there's a bit of RGB on the little block that cools the CPU, it's discreet but goes everywhere and the dial displays a pattern a bit like some kind of wave, it's nice ^^.
Well I'm very disappointed with this cooler which does absolutely nothing to cool my I7 13700K processor on the last of us for example I've already reached 98 degrees which is absurd! I should have stayed with nzxt and in fact I'm thinking of going back to this brand with the elite 360! Otherwise it's relatively easy to mount
Watercooling used to cool a LGA2011-V3 CPU. It seemed compatible with this CPU support according to LDLC and the manufacturer's website, but it turns out not to be (at least not natively). I managed to mount it on my motherboard by tinkering with the fixings on my old waterblock.
On the connections side, everything is adjustable via USB with the proprietary software. As I'm on a Debian, I'm going to have to find a way of controlling it.
I'm keeping an eye on the temperatures but for the moment, it seems OK.
be very careful, when you put it on processor 7900x, because the temperature rises quickly, another watercooling would be better for this processor, ( watercooling asus rog )
Firstly, it's beautiful, especially the pump unit containing the LCD screen (after that, it's up to the individual). Secondly, it's very quiet. The only noises you hear are those of the Asetek pump, but to be honest, you really need to have no noise at all to hear it. Apart from that, the fans are extremely quiet. Finally, the only small problem is that the system information displayed on the screen is in English. But then, everyone should be able to translate 'PUMP' into 'POMPE', I suppose.
I ordered the complete PC assembly without the Windows installation and frankly everything was fine, I have nothing to say about it, it was very well organised and the customer service I spoke to before the purchase was very good.
This watercooling can't work without MSI Center,
MSI Center is full of bugs, this one reads a bad CPU temperature, so the watercooling stays idle, despite a liquid temperature of 80 degrees.
I'm not sure how to change the pump/fan speed without this software :/
If you want to avoid burning out your CPU, don't buy MSI watercooling!
The quality of MSI's software is really decreasing!
The cooling system is devilishly efficient, the fans are quite quiet and the waterblock is easy to fit.
I added my own thermal paste to ensure maximum dissipation.
The MSI software is still perfectible and a bit resource intensive but does the job.
I also regretted a slight lack of length of the cooling hoses, but that's because my case is monstrous (Thermaltake core P8).
I recommend the purchase for the product and the LDLC service.
I would recommend this product.
For the assembly I don't know, I chose the LDLC assembled option.
After a very long hesitation I took the plunge, and the verdict is in:
Easy to assemble 10/10
Ease of installation 8/10 (yes the radiator takes up space)
Ease of powering 8/10
negative points :
Lack of rgb but that's all it is
I'm not sure how much of a problem it is, but I'm sure it's a good idea to have a good look at the display on the pump, which is very nice and even useful to see the cpu levels directly in the game.
It's also very easy to put in the case.
All in all it's a very good product, well finished and with good performance.
I am a little disappointed with the cooling performance. The MSI Center setup software sucks: it's not even possible to track the liquid temperature.
