Good quality microphone but the backing doesn't stick

The microphone is very practical, allowing you to use the headphones you want (or no headphones at all).

The sound quality is good and it doesn't pick up too much ambient noise when I activate the directional cell. Under Linux, I have a fairly low input level but I haven't yet tried to find out how to increase the gain. Under Windows, no particular problem.

Its only fault is that the stand doesn't fit my headphones at all. For the time being, I'm wedging the microphone between the headset and my head, which does the trick for my needs.

Good sound, but needs to be glued

The sound of the mic is great, both modes are nice but I only use it in cardioid mode. The mute button doesn't make any noise on the mic, but having the button 5cm lower to have it more easily in the field of view would have been nice. I've had it for a few months now, unfortunately the sticker only lasts a month or two due to wear and tear from all the head movements you make. I solved the problem with strong glue on my DT 770 Pro. It's a shame but I expected it.

        Good grip

I've been using the Sennheiser HD58X for over a year now and I've had a problem with the microphone not working, but it's back under warranty and no problems.

        CR installation and advice

I use a Beyer DT770, I initially installed the self-adhesive attachment to the plate or mark of my helmet and its reference is close (flat surface) to my mouth. The microphone branch was a bit short, so I installed the second self-adhesive attachment point just below the pin on the headband that rests on my head and holds the speaker where I had already attached the self-adhesive hook. Then I noticed that I could unscrew the microphone holder, which allowed me to have more slack and to better shape the microphone arm. I have a large head. For the price, it is effective and of good quality. The DT770 mic set works much better than my branded gamer headsets such as my RAZER, I'm just worried that the self-adhesive attachment won't hold up over time... I've seen comments about the latter that don't reassure me about the analog jack version. I have seen comments about the latter that do not reassure me about the analogue jack version (minus one canvas). (minus one canvas)In any case, I recommend, too bad I can't share the pictures with you... ( minus one canvas)

        Good sound but...

Good sound, but it keeps coming apart on a DT 770 PRO, so it's hard to glue it back together every two weeks, I've been using it for a month now and I've had to glue it together twice, even though I've cleaned the surface well beforehand etc., but it doesn't work

        Good sound but ....

So, I've been using it for a little over a month now and I'm not at all disappointed with the sound. I come from a Rode NT1A and was tired of having a foot and a mic in front of my face.

However, I have a big problem with the grip on the headphones. I have a DT990 pro from BeyerDynamics and I have already used 3 of the 4 small parts to stick on the helmet ... YES I did pass the alcohol wipes, NO I don't spend my time unhooking it and playing with it. I had to put a dot of superglue to fix the story.

        Anyway:

+ The price for a microphone of this quality
+ The quality of the microphone is not bad at all
        + easy to install
+ all the little clips to join the mic cable to the headset cable are very handy.

        - I had a problem with the glue on the part to put on the headset

The reason I put such a hard quote is because I was really expecting to be totally lost with it and I end up having to tinker.
