Having to clone my msata SSD to another one, I used this adapter. Everything worked the first time. Installed on a sataII to USB adapter, it was immediately recognized by my W7.
With all these incompatible formats, I ended up with a 500Gb SSD that I couldn't mount on my new PC.
This adapter solved this problem and everything works perfectly!
After replacing my Zotac with an Intel NUC, I still had the Zotac mSata SSD. Thanks to this accessory, I was able to recycle it into a 420GB external drive in a USB3 enclosure that I had left. And it works perfectly.
Delivered on time, works perfectly.
If the terms of use require me to leave a review of more than 200 characters for an ssd adapter, I have to write long useless sentences.
I use this adapter for a msata ssd that replaces a 2.5" 7mm ssd. It works very well. I don't see any loss of performance. The construction is good. The ssd is screwed onto a board which is held in an iron frame.
I asked the service department if this adapter was 9.5 mm or 7 mm. They told me it was 7mm. This is not the case, it is 9.5 mm. I had to remove the iron frame and cut it off with large tin snips. The screws that hold the pallet to the frame have a thick round head and were protruding from the 7mm. I replaced them with flat head screws. So 5 out of 5 for the product but -1 for the poorly informed after sales service.
I have to say that the 2 screws to hold the ssd on the pad were present in the box.
The adapter is perfect for recovering m-sata disks from a decommissioned laptop and transferring them to 2.5" slots. Everything fits together and connects well.
In short, a PC recovery essential!
I had an ACER Predator g3-501 equipped with an SSD, but it was in MINI-SATA, which is not common and thanks to this case, I'm living again
