the cable management is just right if you don't need more than a few centimetres
I'm not sure what to say, LDLC is the best!
Hi, order to connect mainly hard drives to the motherboard, cable a bit hard but in my configuration no problem. Thanks LDLC
The positive:
- it works perfectly and looks durable.
- the red is really red (in case you have a window and want to do a colour theme).
The negatives:
- the cable is very stiff (impossible to do progressive twists and the cable bends near the connectors)
- as the cable is rigid, it is difficult to make a good management, and it pushes quite hard against the ports and not at right angles, so it lacks flexibility.
- the plugs are extremely hard to remove and you really have to pull like a brute... so much so that I had to hold my motherboard back when I wanted to unplug the cable.
In the end, I didn't see the point of SATA cables with locks, but these are superior in every way to cables without them. Not only can you hear clearly when the connection is made, but they are easy to disconnect.
If you want to buy this cable, you should allow extra length to help the cable twist, otherwise it will make very noticeable creases.
