It seems that the life of this battery is shorter than expected...
The original battery was indicated to be changed (inverter self-test) after 2 years and 4 months, which I did.
After 2 years and 8 months, same diagnosis!
However, the inverter is only subject to a few mains problems (2 or 3 times a year).
The lifespan still seems a bit short to me, even though the manufacturer indicates a lifespan of 3 to 5 years!
Ordered yesterday, received today. As always, LDLC service is top notch.
As for the battery, I hope it will last as long as the old one which lasted 10 years.
Having said that, the price is still very high for a battery, 30% of the price of the device, that's too much, but it's essential.
A little expensive, especially as it is possible to buy 2 separate batteries and reuse the plastic part and the cables that connect them to recreate one. However, this battery replaces the previous one, which will have lasted 9 years.
Remember to check the condition of your batteries from time to time, mine was all swollen!
Problem-free replacement of the original inverter battery, normally for another five years.
As soon as they were received, they were replaced. After almost 10 years of good and loyal service, the 2 APS inverters were starting to show signs of weakness...

Inverter is operational again. No more loud ringing of the bell to indicate lack of capacity/power in case of a power failure. Very easy to replace.

It's true that APC inverters are really top of the line! Far from being the cheapest, but quality and reliability must be paid for! The price/performance ratio is still excellent, however, and you shouldn't risk compromising reliability with an exotic replacement battery...
I bought this replacement battery to replace the one originally included in a Back-UPS Pro 1200VA UPS after about 5 years of operation (the UPS was no longer detecting the presence of the battery whose voltage had probably dropped significantly).
The replacement is hot-swapped and the new battery is immediately recognised.
The inverter told me that the battery was starting to weaken, normal after five years of good and loyal service, battery ordered and received the next day, it is very good of the part of ldlc to keep these batteries of these inverters, after all these years.
When changing the battery, impossible to get it all the way in. Problem with the connectors on the new battery. Call from LDLC who send me back to the manufacturer APC instead of doing the replacement themselves! (APC was very efficient, but surprised at the reaction of LDLC). The new product received works very well. Bad note because of LDLC after sales service...
Original APC battery. Installs easily, and everything works as before.
I had a 4 year old battery and it failed (cracked casing/catalyst).

I am satisfied as usual with my last order. I had asked for a new APC RBC124 battery, I received it and fitted it to my inverter, and everything went off without a hitch.
The only complaint I can make is the lack of information about a lack of stock, which meant that I had to wait several days before receiving my package. A little email to let me know would have been nice!
100% satisfied with both delivery and use... I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it is.
I'm not sure how long the battery will last, but I'm sure it will.
