These batteries are necessary for the operation of the inverter. They are expensive, but the last ones lasted almost five years.
The delivery was very fast and the (very heavy) batteries were very well packed.
The only concern is that you have to take the old batteries yourself to a recycling centre that accepts them, as the manufacturer has made no provision for individuals or independent professionals.
