Bought to replace an old F3-10666CL9D-8GBLX 2x4GB kit, I had no compatibility problems with my ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen3 CM, even if Asrock does not list this kit as compatible on its site. After all, it's the same type of product, even if the chip density is different.
I'm happy to be on 16GB now.
I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of the product,
I've been using it for a while now and it works perfectly and has given a new lease of life to my old setup.
thank you ldlc
I bought x2 of this product for a total of 32g (+8g personal already installed).
What can I say about this 40GB installed on a bi-xeon, it's simply magnificent and it changes a lot of things in terms of heavy processing on the 3D / Compositing software I use every day.
No big difference with video games though, at the same time it's not necessary to have so much to run any game without any problem, even recent ones.
No crashes, no errors, everything is smooth and works perfectly, I recommend it!
I have no complaints about these memories, they work well and are well cooled. The total size of the memory is well recognised and used under windows (unlike others), a good buy!
Hello,
The motherboard on which G.Skill is installed is based on a B75 and has an I5 2400 processor, no comparability issues and it runs well in 1333, it replaces an 8GB @ 1066 board.
G.Skill is a brand I have used for a few years, fast and reliable.
The more RAM you have, the more responsive you can be and the more applications you can run in parallel, this is called multi-threading.
My motherboard, like many, has 4 memory slots.
It is therefore essential if I want to have as much RAM as possible that I can insert as much memory as possible and these RAM strips provide the solution: 16 GB of RAM for 2 slots is exactly what I need to boost my PC under Windows 10 64 bits.
I have installed the bars and I find that my PC no longer slows down, because all the slowing factors have been removed:
- large RAM to run a lot of apps
- 500 GB SSD to have room for the Windows SWAP file
- limit the installed applications to just what you need, don't install a lot of plugins, etc...
My system runs very well and this kind of RAM strip contributes greatly to this.
I'm not sure what to say about the product, it's top of the line, you have to check that it is compatible with your motherboard (same number of PIN, same DDR3 standard...).
