Fast delivery. Excellent product. 2 plugged into my internet box. 1 in my office and 1 in my living room. Interconnects my internal network...
Very good warranty...wall mounting or on the small skid...perfect for the home 5 posts
Not much to say about a Switch... it works...
The speed indicators are very useful
The product performs well and is easy to use, for a very reasonable price. Received very quickly.
Fully compliant.
Robust.
Quiet.
Already 2 switches of the same range in 5 ports that work since 2012 in 24/24 without any problem.
I bought a GS108 netgear to replace a dlink that was no longer working.
This product is excellent value for money. Simple and efficient!
Perfect to enjoy a high transfer speed. Its modest size makes it easy to position. All metal, it exudes quality.
This product does its job very well and is very easy to use.
I use it to connect computers, apple TV, NAS ....
Nothing to say about the LDLC order.
The product does not require any configuration,
You connect it and it's ready to go.
You see directly if you are connected in 10, 100 or 1000.
The only negative detail is that the lights are quite loud, it's a bit disco in the room when it's dark. But a little label and some cut-outs and it's all sorted.
Product was well made when it came out of the package and worked without any particular problems. No installation as expected.
I did not measure the speed, but there is no visible latency when surfing the internet or downloading.
Good product
You plug it in, it works! What more could you ask for. Gbps on all ports even with very average cables.
Package well received!
The material works very well and your service is always efficient!
good luck and happy new year

use this product to power my RJ45 sockets from the box, TV and laptop
Very fast delivery as usual. Good packaging. Material conforms and in good condition. Good job again.
I got it to replace an old white 8 port Gigabit netgear switch, which has ports that turn off by themselves.
After almost ten years it's a bit normal, but these "blue metal" switches are better performing, and more durable than the same "white plastic" models, which are supposed to be for home use.
For the few euros difference, get the "Blue Metal" model.
I've been using this switch for a while now and it's a great way to get my hands on a computer.... LDLC fast as always
I changed my 100 mega switch for a gigabyte switch and I am quite satisfied with the result.
I have indeed multiplied by 10 my local network speed.
It's very simple and efficient.
Very professional steel finish and seems very robust
Very efficient switch for a large domestic or semi-professional installation. Very practical for a fleet of digital TV sets.
Five computers and three set-top boxes
Perfect delivery and packaging.
Good device that suits me very well for my home wired network. It's cheap and easy to use. I recommend it to the novice like me. It's very easy to use and very cheap. Great
I bought this 8 port switch in the Paris shop 1 year and 1 month ago and it loses connection after 5 minutes of use.
I tried it with different ethernet cables of different lengths, nothing to do, all the devices connected to the GS108 are invisible on the network. It's like a Christmas tree that flashes all over the place but doesn't let any data through.
Breakdown happened overnight. 1st disappointment with Netgear equipment.
It's great to be back on the wire with a reliable and simple device! There is nothing to do, except of course to connect the cables properly... I recommend this type of product, which I also use professionally.
The device corresponds to my expectations. Good value for money and reliable, serves my network without any problem.
I have several Netgear components that work very well. The technical service is very professional and competent.
Good brand, works as it should for two and a half years, everything goes through it, the PC, the NAS, the printers and the box. No worries, does not heat up either, very good equipment. It's like Netgeear!
Hello,
I've ordered a switch to connect the devices in the TV cabinet, it works very well, allows you to connect a computer, a ps3, an amp and a TV on a single rj45 socket
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
Nothing to complain about, the indicators are useful.
I would have preferred all the cables to be on the same side, it's easier to house the box, especially as it's not intended to be installed in a cabinet like a rackable model.
Product received quickly but badly packed (2 bubble covers, but both on top, so no protection from the bottom of the box)
The new features of this V4 compared to the V3 that I also own: an on/off button on the back (it looks fragile...)
much smaller and lighter transformer.
I really get 1Gbps transfer between my 2 switches (with a 25m cat 6A cable)
Remains almost cold.
It's a shame it doesn't come in a 12 port version.
I'd love a version with the ports on the back and the lights on the front.
Always ships in a timely manner.
The cookies allowed me to exchange some cables that did not allow for proper transfers.
I have reserved the 'bad' ones for the printers, otherwise the transfers go very well. (from 30 to 120 Mb/s depending on the load of the computers)
Bought in 2013, the switch is showing signs of fatigue (power cuts) in 2016.
And then, surprise about the warranty:
On the LDLC product sheet the warranty is 5 years.
At NETGEAR the warranty is 2 years for the power supply and "for life" for the box itself.
The failure was on the case side, which was lucky for me.
The NETGEAR after-sales service department changed it without any difficulty.
The warranty conditions should be clarified on the product sheet.
On/off button, a safety cable slot on the back, indicator light on the plugs to show the start of 10/100/1000. Does what it is supposed to do, especially for the price.
I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it again.
