Hardware TOP / horrible Asus bloatware
The PC itself is a nugget. It's slim and featherweight, but still delivers great performance. TheAMD AI 370 is much more energy-efficient than the Intel variants, while performing better in games.
The only problem is with the Asus software. I had constant graphics bugs, I had to reinstall Windows 3 times. Even in simple office use I had windows that "blinked" and went into error. I updated the drivers/software but nothing fixed the problem, which I suppose was due to the management of the MUX switch.
I ended up trying to install Windows Atlas, removing all the Asus bloatware and replacing it with G-helper.
This allowed me to resolve all the bugs, as well as going from an 11gb Ram load out of the box to less than 6gb, while achieving 8/9 hours of autonomy after setting G-helper's "silent" mode to 28w for the cpu, and adjusting the fan curves.
As a result, the PC runs in fan less mode under low load (currently in a zoom meeting while writing this comment with the PC on my lap, not a single fan is running, CPU / GPU below 50°).
